Why
Recco Joy is a closed social network built around trust in your nearest circle—not open feeds, but recommendations from people close to you for products nearby. I owned the full backend: APIs, data models, and services that power location-aware recommendations and the social graph behind them. The challenge was making nearby, circle-based recommendations feel relevant without the noise of a public social app.
